a question on MTO map, UP2.01...

hi guys
i'm a bit puzzled as to this entry in my stock UP2.01 all.ini:
MTO_Light   MTO/load_light.ini
in the Files/maps section, there is an MTO folder with a load.ini, but no sign anywhere of a load_light.ini.....any ideas as to where exactly this ini entry comes from? is it stuffed inside one of the sfs files, or what?
is it a stock map entry? i don't think so....but can't be sure....this light version seems to come with Up2.01, but other than the all.ini entry, there's no sign of the load_light.ini file...
any ideas or suggestions welcomed...

Malone, I also noticed that. Strangely the entry in the FMB maps menu is "MTO Online" which doesn't match with the all.ini line...

I am not at home and I don't have IL-2 on my laptop so I can't check my game or extracted SFS Files
So I will Wing it :)

If there is a MTO_Lite map and it loads up ok, then the load_light.ini would be in the SFS Files
Most likely with in one of the HFXMaps.SFS files(or whatever there called for the HSFX SFS Files)
The SEOW guys changed a few default maps like Okinawa ete for there HSFX package the use.
I imagine that the MTO may have been changed a bit for there specific use for SEOW like Okinawa was.
UP is based off the HSFX SFS Files so a lot of stuff like that was already there and in the SFS Files
With maps we have just added maps mainly and everything that has been added for maps by us at UP
is located in the Files/maps directory

The reason the FMB map list names may be different than the all.ini entry's
is because the FMB map name list actually comes from the maps file in the Files/i18n folder
 (or whatever that folder is called lol )maps_RU file maybe for the actual file name

The FMB will show the all.ini entry for a map name ,
except when the map name has been amended throught the maps_ru file

This file in the i18n folder is mainly for taking underscores out of map names ete
all.ini entry is My_Map and in the maps_ru file(again from memory which is not a good memory)
you can get rid of the underscore to make it show as My Map in the FMB
Open the file and it will show as the all.ini entry is in the left column and the amended name is in the right column

I will investigate the load_light.ini for the MTO tomorrow night when I get home and can check my game and files :)

Hey NP guys ,your welcome  :)

I have checked my extracted files but didn't come across this load_light.ini
I did have a few errors when extracting the SFS Files getting the odd SFS File with only 96% or so extracted so a few files I didn't get.
So I would assume this load_Light.ini  is one of the files I didn't get extracted  :(

I did look the maps over though in FMB,the MTO Online version is a stripped down version of the MTO map,
mostly it has all the airfield netting removed from on the airfields that are on the MTO full default version.
I think the Factory's have been reduced building wise also for less buildings.
Not sure about retexturing ,I just quickly looked at each map in FMB

I imagine one or more of the map guys for SEOW made this Online version for the "Scorched Earth Online Wars"
Being better for Mission builders having the Nets removed from the airfields and good for online with lot's of players spawning for reduced collisions or less objects to taxi around or something like that.

I need to redo my Fileslist for the extractor again to get a good clean version that will extract all the map files again
Since my Hardrive bit the dust I did lose a lot of stuff like my good Fileslist ete
Slowly been getting everything back to that Happy Place I had my Pc lol

Now my curiosity will get me  :D
and I will have to try extracting the HSFX Map SFS Files again to see what all I missed on them    :)

It is from "+CY6_Dark_Skies" Mod

weird, though...guess we would have found it sooner if it was called load_dark.ini... :P 8)
