win7 ultra 2x nvida 480 bla bla bla , anyone seen a topic around here for these problems search for two days now.
My modded game transfered from old rig give no response when try to start it

Hi LeOne,

 The biggest change I see in your post is the SLI setup. Now, we are dealing with an engine damn near as old as me (just kidding - no one is that old) and I moved from XP64 to Win7 64 Home last October with reinstalls of all my software; required as I wasn't on Vista. I have no problem with UP EXCEPT an occassional lockup if I mod my controls while in-flight. This lockup requires a reboot.

It may be that UP or whatever you flavor is (I use UP2.10 with some 28 SaS mods and the current button) may have a problem with two video cards. My suggestion: remove one completely, rerun Ilsetup, change your conf.ini to the resolution you want, then try to load the game.

Some may be able to use two cards, I have not given it a try because I do not believe I will see any change in UP or FSX.

My system: i7920 C0 stepping@ 3.8Ghz/Nvidia 285 with 197.45 drivers/6Gb 1600 RAM.

I have worked thru all advises I could understand and it has so far not helped. I got the new install of clean 409 to turn around the cd and then stop my copied mod is dead.
Can it help to change driver to nvida 480 cards

I'm running Win7 x64 Ultimate with no problems.
2 GTX 295's in SLI.

I may be able to help, but I need to know a few pieces of information.

1.  Have you set the game to run as administrator.
2.  Have you tried to set the game to run in Win XP sp3 mode?
3.  What version of Nvidia drivers are you running?
4.  What Mother Board/CPU are you running and are the MB drivers up to date?
5.  What sound card/drivers are you running?
6.  What mode are you trying to run the game in OpenGL or DX?

For the video driver go here:

There is a little scan program they have that will scan your system, tell you what driver you have and let you know if you need a new one or not.  Then you have the option to d/l it if you like.  If your motherboard has an Nvidia chipset, it will let you d/l drivers for that as well.

Can you send me your conf.ini pls? Need to make sure there are no errors.  You said you transferred your Il-2 install from another machine?  There may be some incorrect settings.  First one that comes to mind is the resolution.

Before you go any further with this wild goose chase, have you tried a fresh vanilla install on the new PC?  That way you can isolate a few possibilities before turning all the knobs trying a bunch of suggestions that are shots in the dark.
