thanks, walter...  we appreciate it and glad you like it.  we are pretty sure we fixed all of the known issues (and probably some that wasn't known generally) with this update.  on top of that, we've added a few things...ie droptank racks for the F/L/N for instance, and if you have my E-1 and M-1 (also available here in the DL section) you'll also get the new and improved wings PLUS the droptank racks on them...automatically, since they're based on the game's stock E and M and will happily use the new E and M wings!

 

PS, these droptank racks will NOT show up in the arming screen.  only once you load up with a fuel tank loadout and go into a mission!  once in mission they are fully visible between the tank and the belly.

Hi men!
Great fix, I really appreciated the return of nose arts in this mod, 'cause I think that P-40 is one of the best looking planes with a pin-up on it.
Just a little fix-request: can be restored the noseart on P-40M to the default size?
By now, it's correct on P-40E, but on P-40M it's smaller (compared to P-40E and default P-40M).
Hope this can be fixed.

I see the P-40s still have the duck-toed landing gear.  I don't think the wheels were rotated outwards like that in real life when the gear was extended.  Are there any plans to fix this?  Great mod otherwise.

if it is a prob...haven't personally looked at that...  it's not on my plate to fix it, at least not any time soon.  i have some small updates for the K which i'll eventually get around to uploading, but otherwise i've got TOO many irons in the fire for any more major P40 work any time soon.

but who knows what the future will bring?  somebody else might do it before i can get around to it.

i've not asked CY6 on this but i'm betting his plate is as full as mine if not fuller.
