OK, let me explain this

The mod works perfectly in a clean install. It will have this takeoff bug in any UI, UP or HSFX install.
This is because, the bug is caused by a change made to the com\maddox\il2\fm\mass.class.
This class was changed by AAA for use in UI1.2, when they wanted to add the P51 pylons to it. This class was taken into HSFX, and subsequently into UP, along with the New P51's.
Interestingly, if you follow the footprints of this classfile through the community, the only packers who have so far fixed this file are Histomod. 10/10 for them

In any other current pack, or install with this class in one of the related mods from AAA or elsewhere, or any mod that it was added to , deliberately or by accident, you will thus find this pylon weight bug, which prohibits this modplane from accelerating from a stop.
This is how I know that it was not actually tested "WITHOUT OTHER MODS"...duh!

I remember someone spotted a possible problem with this class a while ago, after UI1.2 came out, but I think the thought got lost in the subsequent hoopla.
To fix this is simple, add back the stock mass class, you can do this by finding the classfile called 21C7DD1C66D55376 , and disabling it.
You solve this by pressing the "search" tab in the "window" in your IL2 main install directory, then choose "all files and folders", paste in the filename in the "all or part of the filename" space, and then hit search (on winXP I have a little doggy that wags it's tail while doing this!). When it finds the file, or files, right click on them, select "rename", and then put a minus (a "-") in front of the name. Do this for all the hashed classfiles you find that is called 21C7DD1C66D55376 .
Call them all " -21C7DD1C66D55376 ".
Then relaunch your game.

Guys without this class in their installations will have no problems to start with. Just like Skipper !
