as this is a beta, you might wish to be notified that dropping the mk12 causes a system error on my machine. not instantly, but at the point of ime where the bomb probably hits the ground. "00000x50e couldn't read memory 0100f0" or similar it reads. it continues with "press okay to shut down 'il-2fb'. " :(
sidewinder and guns work fine.

This is likely due to the damage caused by the MK12 nuke.
Try to drop the bomb at some empty area or over water to see if that helps.
Since there is massive damage done by the bomb in a large area, the number of particles/polys/simultaneous effects can easily exceed the system's limit causing unpredictable errors.
Usually enabling texture compression in the conf.ini can be a work around here, but I agree that this is something which requires further investigation.
Would be helpful if you could cross-check this issue by dropping the MK12 into empty area as stated above, then disable any additional effects mods if applicable, and as a last step maybe cross-check this with the B-29SP nuke bomber to see whether the same issue applies here as well.

Thanks for the bug report and best regards - Mike

Do you have "HG&P Plutonium Maximum Effects Mod", "Big Bombs Explosion Effects Mod" and "B-29 Silverplate Mod" enabled?

yes all of them. they work fine.

This is likely due to the damage caused by the MK12 nuke.
even at 5000m?

never helped.
i'll try to post an image of the error message.

Thanks for the bug report

the process "read" could not be *applied?* to the memory.

this is how it happened:

Try disabling plutonium effects and try again.

You say they work fine, but I'd try it.

Just give a go Mike on this update , Lot of fun as always, I love the locking tone inside the cockpit but i have a question , its normal to say when the game starts  that " AAS F-86j DiffMF and bla bla bla" first that and second when it said that the Missiles are disengaged how i can active them again, when i fire the missiles works but i cant hear the tone inside the plane,But like you said is Beta so if you allrdy have in mind all these bugs just let it go :) Nice update and thanks!

its normal to say when the game starts  that " AAS F-86j DiffMF and bla bla bla"
For V0.09 this is normal, but can be disabled by adding the following lines to the end of your conf.ini:
Code: [Select]
[AAS]
NoSplashStatusMessages=1

Future versions will change this form opt-out to opt-in, meaning that such kind of messages only appear if there are specific settings in your conf.ini and will be disabled by default. Furthermore, all branding (like the "AAS" in the message you've seen) is removed.
This is already implemented in an internal 0.10 build, which has been provided as open source release for integration of missile code parts into the SAS Jet package.
I expect to have a new F-86J version ready within the coming two weeks.

when it said that the Missiles are disengaged how i can active them again
With the wheel break key, by default that's the "b" key.
On ground it acts like normal (wheel brake), airborne it toggles the missile engagement status in the order AUTO->OFF->ON->AUTO->...

when i fire the missiles works but i cant hear the tone inside the plane
Yes, that's a known bug for the current versions.
Usually this happens when you change the view modes, e.g. toggle some outside views with F2 or F3 or something similar, and step back into the cockpit again. In that case, sometimes the "growl" lock tone isn't audible.
For V0.09, the only possible workaround is to step out and in to the cockpit again until the tone is back as normal.

This is currently under investigation and will be fixed in future versions.

Best regards - Mike

yes all of them. they work fine.
No, they aren't. I won't be surprised if all of your bombs do this error message. The problem is that Plutonium Maximum is extremely incompatible with original Silverplate mod and Silverplate fix from Santobr, one of which (anyone, no matter which) is required for Big Bombs Explosion Effects if you run Ultr@Pack version that has mistel-like atomic bomb effect as default.
So, the only way to solve your problem is disabling Plutonium Maximum. Or, if you rarely play "nuclear" missions, disable Big Bombs and Silverplate.
So IT ISN'T PROBLEM WITH THIS MOD, GO TO Big Bombs/Plutonium Maximum/Silverplate fix THREAD AND CRY THERE IF MY METHOD WON'T WORK.

mati now you really confused me.
yes you are right, this bug DOES NOT ONLY hoppen with the f86j, so storebror never mind me bugging you.
but still i noticed that i was wrong about the plutonium effects, i don't have those at all, but uranium!
and even with that one disabled (jsgme), it won't work!

So, the only way to solve your problem is...
...not using nukes anymore! :P

^^ however there is a little issue with that, if someone uses one near you or on the same map as you it may come up with that error message.
