Twister thanks for this long awaited dream. I remember the days at AAA when this was long discussed and debated to death. It's just a modification based on less known facts, can be switched off if one doesn't like.
At least it is not so unhistoric, in Boehmes JG 7 publication I read they where delivered 30 up to 50 EZ 42 for frontline use in III./JG 7 from Askania. Around their time being based at Brandenburg-Briest. Theo Weissenberger didn't liked it, so he changed back to Revi 16/B in his personal mount. We have a complete fictional Lerche too. Even your X-4 is not such fiction, Green 3 is known as W.Nr. 111994, known served as W.Gr.21 testbed in JG 7.
Gerd Lindner Test flew it according his Logbook before it was handed over to Stab JG 7, with W.Gr.21, R100BS (up to 5 on a single Me 262 A-1a) & X-4 Ruhrstahl in March 1945. Most likely at E-Stelle Tarnewitz, where weapon trials conducted. The X-4 were test mounted under Wings but not fired.

Doesn't seem to work in DBW 1.6?
Only way I get Askania static-replacement with entries in Cockpitfolder to Me-262A and a file called hier.him.
This way I have Askania showing up on V-3, A-1a, A-1a/U4, A-2a and HGII. Gyro-mode doesn't work,
with or without all classfiles. To get rid of the yellow centered Reticle 1 remnants I need to make this tga black.
When I use Me-262A-1a.him, I get stock Revi16/B. Classfiles seem to have no effect too. Only adding one or two
loadouts to HGII.
Guess all for Me 262 s now hardcoded in DBW, not so easy anymore
Maybe someone tries to make it compatible for DBW, would be really great.
BTW. will tinker a bit and try a Modact install, EZ 42, this must be used
Thank you very much Twister
