The plane looks great. I too like the canopy handle animation but the engine start up sound, is that new? It sounded really cool on the video. 8)

So, what is different from other Doras?

I can't find many data on historical D-15...

The D-15 was to be powered by the DB-603 as opposed to the Jumo 213 that the Dora was normally powered by. The Ta-152C was to be powered by the DB-603 as well but the D-15 was designed as a way to get a 603 powered Focke Wulf into service quickly. As far as I can tell none entered service.

For me this is the best Fw-190 ever. This one seems to be made to attract more Fw-190 lovers.  ;D

This beast can carry some really scary weapons to destroy anything and has a monster engine to cause allied fighters some serious problems.
Don't even try to run away in a Mustang Mk.III, this beast will stay on your 6 waiting for a good moment for a deadly burst of explosive bullets.  ;)

Thanks guys, that's exactly what I wanted to know.

So if I get this right it's a 603 powered Fw - with minimal changes to plane to allow for a quick transition on production lines. This must be a startling performer. Fw tried to get DB605 throughout the war, but Messerschmitt was jelaously sitting on it. Now with a 603...  8)

This sound pack is Ultra@Pack 2.01 default sound.

Is the template your own work Gerd as I can't see any credits on it? Beautiful plane mate, just got round to trying it. As for the canopy crank Gerax, just open the canopy ( ctrl+c as usual) and watch lower right inside cockpit-I love that little addition  8)
