Just normal. CUP has 2 times more planes and 3 times more objects than HSFX, and is, therefore, more demanding on your system. You may want to
- upgrade your system;
- reduce graphic settings (look for 'conf.ini optimization');
- reduce the number of loaded planes (look for 'lightened air.ini' utilities).
There's plenty of info here at SAS how to do that, but there's no single way which matches everyone's need. And be more specific the next time: what system you have (OS/CPU/GPU/conf.ini settings, etc)  ;)

What really matters for Il2 and CUP is the single-core performance of the CPU.
And the bottleneck of your system is exactly the CPU: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/singleThread.html

My 5 years old laptop with an i5-430M is two times stronger than your Athlon 6850. I can run CUP, but only with reduced settings and a lightened air.ini.

So I guess you won't be able to run CUP with fair fps unless you upgrade your CPU.  :(

I have ........ gtx 750

With NVidia graphics cards, the model number is misleading to the masses, always has been.
The first digit usually represents a design or "core" change. The first number can be important,
but the power of the video card is represented by the second digit in the model number. The
second digit is the expensive one.

So,  450,  550,  650,  and 750  are the "50" series cards, and while they will play games, they
are usually severely restricted in terms of graphics power ...... and they are cheapish.

With nvidia, you need to get a "60" series or above card if you want good graphics performance.
That's why the 50 series cards are always false bargains :P

An old 260 card is likely better than a 750, though I haven't checked, but you get my drift?

NVidia purposely cripple their video cards in various ways and artificially create a large product
range by doing so. The boys in the marketing department basicly undo all the great work the
engineers at R&D do, it's a sad, sad thing, but it keeps the profits flowing.
