Hello,

DBW is built off of IL-2 4.10, and there's no way to get around it that I know of. The mods were built around 4.10 so to speak, and many are not compatible with or need to be modified to run with 4.13. Modders don't always (and shouldn't have to) redo all their work just to work with the latest patch.  :)

Just wonder, because Ultrapack RC4 pack 202 works fine.
:-| Can you explain this? Never heard of UP3 RC4 on 4.13!

Modders need some sort of consistent version before they bother combining a lot of content into packs like DBW. You might say that DBW is outdated, considering it uses an older version of IL-2. However, you can add mods that include the same content as in 4.11, 4.12, and 4.13. Most recent modpacks I've used now run on 4.12.2. SAS Modact 6.0 uses 4.13 last time I checked, but you must add most of your own content manually, which is tedious unless you've done it awhile. In most cases I've found however, it is much easier to use CUP, as it already contains just about all the content you could ever need. CUP runs on 4.12.2.     https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,47647.0.html Check it out!  ;D

Hopefully I'm not telling you things you already know lol

Me neither and I should know ;)
I know that there's a bunch of clowns on the internet who offer a re-distributed UP3 RC4 Patch Pack 107 and announce it as "UP3 on 4.13.2" even on the hyperlobby, but mind you:
While you can "throw in" Ultrapack on top of any base game version, running UP3 always lets your game become based on 4.10.1, regardless what it was before.

Weird, I bought il2 1946 on steam then I downloaded the 4.13 (and 4.13.2) patch from Daidalos team in the official forum, after that I downloaded all 13 parts of the UPRC4 202 and unziped them in the steam fodder, then it works.

Does that means that ultrapack has removed the 4.13 patch and push my game back to 4.10.1? And if so, will the other mods work?

My apologies if my english suck.

When you install the game that way, you basically have two independent game versions in one folder.
Ultrapack gets enabled through JSGME.
Once you enable "#UP#_Enable_UP3.0", your game is Ultrapack 3.0, based on IL-2 4.10.1m.
The changes from later IL-2 patches, like 4.11, 4.11.1, 4.12, 4.12.1, 4.12.2, 4.13, 4.13.1 and 4.13.2, will not apply in that case.
As soon as you disable "#UP#_Enable_UP3.0" in JSGME again, your game will be 4.13.2 and Ultrapack will not run until you enable it again, which gets you back to step one in this loop.

One thing I really like about DBW, everything is included and it's ready to go and compatible. I really enjoy all those great maps. Wish everything was that easy.

That's exactly the approach we try to follow with the UP3 Patch Packs.

On a sidenote, the reason why DBW was invented at all was that the obfuscated Zuti MDS code made modding UP3 difficult, if not mostly impossible.
So DBW was created as "UP3 minus MDS" to give a stable mod pack base for modders.
Nowadays we have unobfuscated MDS in UP3 with our Patch Packs, which means that basically UP3 + Patch Pack now is kinda "DBW plus MDS" ;)
And not just "plus MDS" but "plus much more", e.g. the 4.13.2 AI code, astronomically correct sun/moon position and effects, flak burst flashes, working online playable Mistels, many old bugs fixed etc.

Not belittling newer game versions, just saying...
