Difficulty change in campaign after modpack switch

I started campaign while used UP3RC4. All was fine, untill at some mission i hit spawn bug with spawning at same location with other plane blowing it up and damaging mine. Launching it in DBW lets me play it fine .. except one annoying bit, changed "No Player Icon" difficulty setting. As my navigation skills suck, i depend a lot on minimap to display my position, so to easier navigate waypoints, find/return to home airfield and so on, displaying current location and relative heading helps a lot. From what i googled up, there is no way to change difficulty settings in ongoing campaign (or is it?). I wonder if it's not worth to look it up as to why with different big mod packs difficulty settings change at all, i somewhat doubt that it's intended behavior, not bug. Though then again i have no clue if it's UP that does things differently or DBW, but as UP 3.1 development seams dead as Zed from Pulp Fiction, i doubt reporting this bug for UP will change anything. And wasn't DBW somewhat built ontop of UP?

Should i post about exploding plane in UP, when in DBW - it doesn't, in DBW discussion forum? :)
Bug i wished to report that continuing campaign in DBW started in UP changes difficulty settings, as in i see no white plane icon representing my plane location/course on minimap, when i continue it in DBW. Imho it should be easily replicateable with starting for example some standard campaign in UP with that No Player Icon set one way and see if after changing activated mods in DBW difficulty settings look same ..
Hmm, wierd, difficulty settings lists seems somewhat different in UP & DBW, not seeing No Player Map Icon(in last diff. setting page) in UP3 at all.
