Hello,

because of the great work of all the map makers we now have almost all areas of the Eastern Front covered. But still there is one serious gap.

The whole area south of Leningrad, east of the Estonia map by Uzin and north of Oknevas Moscow map is missing. It covers the area from Luga and Veliky Novgorod and Okulovka in the North with Lake Ilmen and Staraja Russa underneath and extending to Demyansk in the East and further south to Kholm and Velikiye Luki





It was quite a contested region with a lot of fighting. Especially parts of JG 54 was based in Staraja Russa for quite a long time, but also JG 51. Also there was the famous battle of Demyanks and Kholm https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demyansk_Pocket

I truly hope you are able to see this through , Marjak - this is a super addition in a real unexplored part of the Ostfront as far as combat simming is concerned.

The siege of Kholm / Cholm is a fantasticly interesting campaign all in itself , and those dusty old wargamers out there who play/played Squad Leader or ASL can never forget the classic Scenario "Escape from Velikeye Luki" !

Can a administrator please move this topic also to the MapWorx section, for some reasons I can`t post there?

There are only a few people that are creating maps and I`m not sure if they regulary have a look at the request section.
