this is a great mod...get's my vote for Mod Of The Year!  super fun and if you don't draw yourself up in a knot over reality too much...damned convincing at what it does doing what it does.

i had a blast using this to DESTROY a japanese airbase in one of my tests missions...  and since i didn't squint at it too closely, but merely went along with the illusion...it seemed 'very' realistic and convincing to me.  in fact, there for a bit, i felt like i really was calling in arty fire on enemy positions...which is the whole point of this mod in the first place i think.  to give you just a microscopic 'taste' of what it 'might' feel like to fly around a battlefield in a tiny spotter plane being at the mercy of every dick with a gun...and yet controlling the gods' thunderbolts to smite the enemy with and blow him to kingdom come.

but like any magic trick, if you study it TOO closely and worry yourself to death over whether it is real or not, you might come away unsatisfied and unhappy.  and that would be a real loss...a real shame...for this OUT OF THE BOX thinking is the type of thing that adds pure entertainment and joy to this sim.  a far cry from the mundane and ordinary same ole same ole of adding ten ka-gillion makes of the same ole models many times with only a strut or bar being any real difference between this model and that model.  this is NEW stuff...and i hope to see a bunch more of it.

thanks Six...  super good job on this!

Thank you for your great job !!!

Just a humble request, can you add more dispersion. Artillery barrage is by no means a pin point attack. In this current version, I've no problem throwing all six (???) rounds to a tiny square of 10m2.

Hi Checkyersix!
Great mod, thanks a lot! I think it's a very good idea to use artillery instead of bombs.

Could you tell me which smoke effects you are using, they look very nice!

It doesn't work for me.I can't toggle cockpit wiev and I can't control the aircraft at all. What is wrong?

Do you have the original L-5 Stinson installed? You need that to make this work.

Thank you for your great job !!!

I might do this in the next update, but in the meantime try reducing your cannon and machine gun conversion distances to 100m.

I'm using the smoke and fire visibility mod, available at AAA. Also the big bombs mod and whatever comes with HSFX 4.1 :)

I'll do this in the next update, though I find if you use spotting rounds you can be quite accurate.

Glad everyone's enjoying the mod!

Very good mod indeed !!!

Now, it begin to be possible to create campaigns using only that kind of planes (L-5, Fi-156, DC-3, Ju-52...) !!! That would be so interesting to fly missions in such planes !!!

I just hope to see some German plane adapted for this too !!!
