Vincent, aka Vtrelut, passed through Johannesburg today on his way to Capetown, and I was very happy to come down to the old city and grab him, and take him for a tour of the South African Museum of Military history.
I took some pictures of him on his cellphone, while our official photographer took pictures of us both
Because we are form SAS, and thus, we fucking
ROCK, we had special permission to go behind the screens and climb into anything we wished.

I got happily reunited with Lulu, my first love, Lulu, with whom I spent so much time (or rather, about whom I spent so much time ....in libraries
)
I was very happy to get a VERY rare opportunity to tell some of the hidden stories and details of these exhibits, which normaly bore people to death.
...and after showing Vincent that there realy IS NO BAR visible in the cockpit
, I thought hard about stealing her...
While Vincent seemed to have developed a crush on Ursula...
Vincent's blackberry has more pix, I hope he will share some. It was a stunning day and filled with great conversation, food and discovery.(And great info about Mirages!)

News to Vincent: 2 hours after your flight Marica gave birth to a healthy baby girl, so I am also today a proud godfather!
