also, who could forget those 2 battles against the japanese on 2 islands off of (but still part of) Alaska? that would be nice if you put that long line of islands off of Alaska in the map too

Those would be the Kuril Islands and there is amap for them if I am not mistaken...

I think you mean the Aleutian Islands:

The Kuriles haven't been done s a map (yet) since not much military activity took place there.

It would be an interesting map for russian campaigns, because B-25's deliveries to USSR were made from Alaska...  :)

Sounds like a very interesting map. Cold war intercepts would be the thing, another playground for the MiGs and Sabres arguing over the heavies.

Check out WIp Alaska  and Soviet Union one of my projects.
Have finished texturing Alaska am now working on the Soviet Union.

In the general maps section.
