OK, here is the INSIDE info. :)

In the next HSFX, it will use an edited version of tiger soundmod, with the flyby's as a JSGME option. This is quite an evolved piece of work which I am doing a tiny bit of post production on. It will be in SFS format for fast loading, and we will have it here at SAS as a freestanding mod also, permissions pending.

In the next UP is something interestingtoo, in a different way. We are going to use a fixed up and updated verion of the current SAS soundpack in SFS (from the previous HSFX) As the initial part of the mod, but also with a tiger flyby part as an optional.

But that is not all. Tiger and hit team is working on a much updated version of his mod, with UP, in SFS packing, which will , as soon as it is ready, be available to drop into the UP installs, and we shall put a freesanding verion here also.

...see where we are going yet?

We will than work on taking that excellnt soundset from UP1.7, bring it back to life, remaster it all and rework it, introducing all new elements and thinhs, and psck thast int o SFS too. This will then be available here in SFS format for droppinh into your UP game if you like it, or for freestanding use.

Then we will ask guys like Jiver and some others who make complete soundpacks to make final packs, using out matrixes and prs names, so we can pack those into SFS again, to be droppen into a UP or SAS game if desired.

So...as you can see, this is goi9ng to a bumper year for sounds, and users will have powerfull choices, more than ever before.

Sounds cool CirX! :)

Now will there also be room for any stuff from RedBatFlight to customize things with?
For instance, I like his extensions & flyby's over Tiger33's ones, because they are not artificially fixed soundsamples.
My current install for example, is a mix of T33's sounds with RBF's pack, and replaced some sounds with JaFa's excellent sounds (Napier Sabre, DB series and his guns).

Will the next UP offer the same flexibility?

Well this blows!!!  :( I tried everything to get the most outta my game performance after uploading Tiger's sounds and it did horrible things for me. I followed every detail to a T but it's sucks too many damn resources! Damn mod sounded like I was in WW2 but I cant enjoy it because of sputters and everything. The patches literally did nothing to help. I still heard this annoying wind sound like I had my canopy open. I have been looking for a freakin good sound mod and I cam across this and i was like  YAY. Well so much for that. I hope everyone else has fun but for me, I have to go back to this stupid ass stock. For what little time I allowed myself to endure the freezes and stuff, the sounds are incredible. O well.

WOW LOL. anyone have this with Tiger's sound mod: Loaded it great, started a campaign, got in the air and tried a few fly-bys to just see what the hype was about. Looked really cool. And then out of nowhere, no more fly-by that could be visibly seen but i can hear them all day. LOL So what in the hell could this be? How can I go from hearing AND seeing the fly-by with external view and then to just flyby sound and no external view. This is getting ridiculous. lol. I have to laugh to keep myself from being done with this altogether. If anyone possibly knows what this issue is, please let me know. thanks. And btw, when it started just giving me the non external view fly-by, I hadn't touched a damn thing.
