hi all, thanks for the info, mods, upgrades and stuff. now I have all updates from Il-2, specifically to the V11, not if there is a special mod for this version, but was told to update to this point, because the patch does not work with mods v11.1 XD, so ask follows now, I have the HSFX 5.0, and some mods that would follow?

4.11 is your version.
there are no mods made specifically for that version. but quite a few  from 4.101 work, yes.
who said to upgrade?

Hsfx5 needs 4.101, not 4.11, i think.
please confirm this by checking the HSFX 5 readme.

download, read, and double read HSFX6 readme forst please.

Global question:

what do you want, what kind of game play do you want? Offline or online?
what are your specific interests in planes and war time? WW1? WW2? spanish war? Vietnam? Korea?
can not have everything in one game, so make a choice. one choice.

XD thanks mainly want to play in WWII, I have the game in version V10.1 International, I am downloading the 6.0 HSFX and I have mods for the V10, I have the Il-2 Stab, skins of all kinds and stuff.
Above all, thanks, I'll take it into account.

Some basic suggestions (assuming you've IL2 1946 from CD):

A) reinstall and patch to 410.1 version

B) make a copy of the game folder

C) patch one of the two copies to 411.1

D) make a copy of these two patched IL2 versions and put them somewhere (an external HHD or another partition): so if you break something sometimes you don't need to reinstall all from the scratch (IL2 don't need to be installe every time)!

E) if you're using Win7...don't install the game under .../Program Files!!! Choose another hard disk or another partition or under C:/GAMES (whatever you want to name a new folder)

F) with 410.1 version you can play with UP3rc4 + DBW1.71. Before you patch your game take a look at the second post in this thread

G) with 411.1 version you can play with HSFX6.01:

H) when you've installed those two packs you've enough to play around for many times.

I) Read around the forum...it's plenty of hint, tips and tricks to run'n'mod IL2! Read and Learn...  ;)
