[idea] AAA sounds

you ever heard a real Bofors Gun? i mean, like.... not the puny popcornshooters we have in game? Or an 88? Not the one that makes "broof"?
For all those that want respectable enemies. For those among us that believe  in being shot at and Pwned by properly modeled AAA does INDEED matter.
I hereby request a sound mod to make the AAA a bit louder, and above all more authentic!

but
I don´t know if I will be able to notice Bofors and 88-flak sounds over my airplane
engine running at full speed and playing Beethoven´s 5th Symphony in the background.

I always like to play loud music in the background on a CD and also turn up the computer
game sound as well, as if I am part of a Big movie production.
Yes, I know  ::) I have had the police searching my house once because they heard many
gun-shots .
That´s the sound of a modded IL-2  game ;D

It seems odd indeed that i make such a request - ever since i had a new TIR clip a month ago, i have been 95% inside cockpit.
That being said, you can ask yourself: yea but why does he bitch about the sounds if he flies "IN" side?

...because the sounds , from the atmosphere outside, suck.
"wrooooom"(truck, jeep, ship, BB, Carrier) "Broof" (88), "Pshatt" (Tiger tank or T-34) "takla taka taka" (quad .50, Bofors) "siiiiiit - BLAM"(Bombs) is all i can hear.

That is why I sometimes play Metallica and Led Zeppelin over the game sounds too.
But that was mostly in the past, now things are a bit diferent.
Since its been modded alot of new interesting sounds have been added and many problems
with those old sounds have been fixed or simply removed and substituted for better ones.
I much prefer the new game sounds now than 2 years ago.
Most escellent noise!!.  8)  Those are just too cool. Very original sound effects the guys made
for the game. I am sure it will get better in the future too.

I believe the sound engineers are doing a great job on that special part
 of this game, but unfortunatelly, not all sounds are being worked on.
I know, These things take much time to do, just like a game airplane.
I used to be a DJ along time ago, so I know how dificult it is sometimes to work out or work in that "perfect sound"  a guy is looking for. Not too high, not too low, just that perfect pitch and
effects we want to hear.
I have a vast record collection, which also includes many special
effects sounds recordings used for films and taken from films for public use.
I know one
of the special effects records I have is all about guns and cannons from WW2. I will look into it
and see if I have any Bofors and Flak 88´s for you. I am sure its in there,because now I am
recalling that it also has a Battle of Britain montage (London Blitz) recorded from the real war years.
A person can hear all of the sounds from a real London Blitz night, which is really pretty wild and
scary. I will get back to you on this and see if I can help you out and put what I have in those
old records into MP3 sounds.

IT is amazing what everyone has done up to now with this game, but there is
still ALOT to be resolved and done. If everyone would just help out with a small part of it, then
the job will be done much quicker.

One thing is for sure though, the future will hold many surprises... just you wait and see!  8)
