HundertzehnGustav:
well,i am surprised by wikipedia...

i think what you are looking for is not the C wing but the E wing.
anyway... get reading and assemble as much tangible and useful and "screwdriver" info as you can.
...and your post might make it into the requests section. ;D

there were some 4 cannon Vc's, but not loads, and they're in the game already.
razor1uk:
I recently read in WW2Aircraft... that one of the reasons why the 4 cannon wing wasn't used often operationally, was that at high altitudes, there was problems supplying enough heating to the Hispano's, especially the ones locsted outside the inner ones, and that pilots preffered to keep the MG's as bakcup, in case of freezing breeches/recievers and/or jams.
But that is not to say they were not used or deployed, although there are many Spitfire type/model/mark options, and as well as what Fruity suggests.

thank you for your varied inputs! ;D

good point about the E wing, since I've several in the game which appear to have four twenty mils.
however, i've noticed that with many of them, what appears to perhaps be a short stub hispano (located next to the typical greatly protruding one) does not seem to fire, regardless of weapon control applied.
anyone else seeing this? i believe it's with the IXe's.
razor1uk:
Those 'stubs' you spotting are the blancked off outer Hispano's which weren't fitted due to the high alt' freezing/heating problems after the C wing was already designed & jigged for production. But some might have had a 0.5" Browning there with a outer wing .303 removed, although my memeory isn't too good.
