Damage realism?

Maybe its just me but i have always thought that either the guns in this game have way too much power or the planes are too easy to destroy.  Anyone else feel like that?  I can easily shoot down a whole formation of b17s before my guns go dry and that just seems a little unrealistic.  Feedback and possibilities of a damage mod?

Probably has more to do with the tactics employed.
As to weapon effectivness UP has addressed this already.

What game version, what plane are you using ?
Also for B-17, just turn their guns on and it wont happen again :D

Depends on the plane also.  If you attack with a plane armed with light machineguns you can empty all your ammo into a B-17 without it going down

I wouldnt think that 4 50 cals could do that but they do.  Also it just seems that planes blow up too much as well.  Most of the gun cameras I have seen never have a plane actually blow up
