OK I am returning to IL2...tell me about what I need to get...
nickm:
Guys:
OK after a hiatus & a total 'flush' of the IL2-1946 universe I am starting at 'less than zero'; I only fly off-line so I am unsure as to what I should have; The only things that interest me now that I cannot find in the latest patched version are:
Planes:
The FW-190F armed with Panzerblitz AT rockets; The Martin Marauder (to fly and to be shot down as AI); Flyable 4 engine bombers (US, British, Italian, German, Russian--any or all);
Maps: Southern England/Northern France; the Low Countries/The German Bight;
Let me know if this stuff is available & how I can install/get it.
Thanks ahead of time;
NM
CWMV:
For offliners like us DBW is where its at.
Its all you need.
SAS~Le0ne:
The main difference from stock game is the 3D models, pits, maptextures and effects. You get a more realistic feel to the game. But I agree, DBW gives you a huge amount of planes packed in sfs files making game load faster. It is buildt for offline use and does not have to comprimize to online compability.
It gives you an modact that make you able to add extra planes or mods.

OK I hear you...I have read enough to learn that my 1946 needs to be patched to level 4.101, NOT 4.11. I need a linky to the Deep Blue World mod
Dakpilot:
You will find it here :)
