ton did a fantastic job on this little bird.   :)  of course it's not realistic and does not claim to be, but it's one hundred percent in keeping with the 'what if' concept of this entire 'what if' 1946 themed game of IL2 where we have wild looking planes flying that never even made it off the drawing board.  it mimics a logical naval conclusion version that would have more than likely had up raising canopies and folding wings for space savings on cramped carriers and of course the tail hook to snag deck wires.  and with a little imagination can stand in for other 'similar' naval/marine types in a pinch.

but besides all that...it's a lot of fun to fly.   :)

thanks brother ton for the great work and of course it gives us yet another 'jet' bird to fight with and rip the air with.  it's a win/win for anybody that likes jet planes.

Stefano has some brilliant skins for this bird too.  thanks man, good job there.

 :) :) :)

somehow. that thing reminds me of an A-4.
shorter legs, less Bombs, no wing guns, no droptanks.

But, like Beo says, and i can appreciate, it is a what-if plane where the tech Dude (Ton) didnt go crazy, and tried to keep it real. and he pulled it off!

It kinda does remind me of an A-4 now that u say that, little plane with tiny wings that seem like they could barely get the thing in the air even without weapons added. And as for the wing guns, it has the miniguns on the inner pylons. Close enough. Also, fun to fly around in.
