I am having trouble configuring my PC to access the 4shared, where the VG33 is provided by FreeIl2Moding. Anyone can put it on another link?

No articles have been done here. Just posted a link without additional explanation.

ON the first page:
To get this skin you must go into the Arsenal_VG33 mod/3do/plane/VG-33  folder and find the v33 bmp file,drag it out and put into a new folder that you have just created and renamed to VG33,now take this folder and put it into your PaintSchemes/Skins folder and walla you can now choose it in QMB.

... or just open ../plane/Vg-33/summer folder and delete skin1o.tgb. Then copy somewhere skin1o.tga, rename it to skin1o.tgb and copy it back.

Yes, thank you, it worked. I wish we 're going to have some skins for it, the plane has very much worked FM and 3D model, it flies like no other, nose heavy and has this characteristic heavy "wooden" feel that sort of reminds me LaGG-3. The aerodynamics for its time seem good.

There's a template posted for this plane ... templates can be the basis of many a skin ...

Guys I just installed this over a clean DBW1.71 and there is no skin issue whatsoever, anyone having skin problems may not have installed this correctly and may have a classfile conflict from an older version.

I have finally got some time do make a Battle for France variant that includes this little beauty. (You fly the MS.406 most of the time, but gets converted to the VG.33 in June 1940).

But I have been having some serious problems. I must admit I have only flown this aircraft throught the QMB before, and has experienced no problems. But the AI can't seem to take off in this one: pretty soon after the wheels start rolling they weer off, from the runway, and eventually explodes. 

When I change the aircraft into the MS.406 everything works fine. Then, when I switched back to the VG.33 I got the dreaded "mission loading failed: null"-message.  :shock:

What can be amiss? Can it be fixed? Beacuse I really want to have this aircraft flying over France in 1940...
