All good, still, since 2 weeks or so, my interest in WoT dropped quite sharply, despite having unlocked several of my "goal" tanks to work to..

The French are new, balancing needs to be done, grossly frustrating to play themselves.
And as said before, the dreaded matchmaker and view system.

Now yesterday on EU this was posted:
http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?/topic/80724-matchmaking-final-answer-about-it/
After reading that I was completely wondering myself why on earth they claim to create "actual WWII Battlefield scenarios" and put tanks from the 1950's and later era's in it..

As someone replied to it; mirror matches would probably be even worse; yes I do agree, but currently it's frustrating enough for me, to throw the towel in the ring partially, after roughly 1100 battles.
I may look like a whiner, complaining about something you can actually play completely for free - sure, but if the playability and attractiveness of the game is being broken by such mechanics, then I'm not gonna waste much more of my time with it, until it's admitted by the developers that it's indeed quite bad right now, or completely fixed because they noticed it already.
(like the same way the Type-59 was removed from the store for balancing reasons all of a sudden).

If there was a way to make a fist against such a manner of development, then i'd like to know.
For now i'll just be online less, and play only when i'm in for some enjoyment, quitting or AFK'ing immediatly once my frustration level rises.  :-\

Sorry, just had to vent it a littlebit, at a reasonably safe place. ;)

Well my frustration with the match making system was kind of gone when I only played tier 8 or higher!
The only real problem for me with match making is, that it pulls in a lot of inexperienced players from the lower tiers that still think that they are playing a shooter and can fight and survive on their own, while this is more a game of chess and heavily based on teamplay!
Its frustrating to watch large groups of your team act like lemmings and rush of to the most obvious places on the map and come to a grinding hold, while there are more important choke points to hold which are usually also the more easy parts of the map to defend or outflank the enemy!
Also frustrating is when you have damaged and killed 5 or more tanks and you still loose big time because your team destroys it self in the first 3 minutes in the game because of pointless rushing and blame you for not supporting them in their suicide mission!

In my experience of match making the best tiers are 2, 8 (full upgrades), 9 and 10!

Type 59!! lots of fun to have, frustrating tank to fight against! best tanks to counter with: panther II (but take him out at long distance), all of the tier 8 heavies and a type 59:P, and any tier above!

can't be more true.. i'm a hopeless noob in WoT, but i see only red notifications and half team wasted after 1 minute..
nevertheless, without "veteran" orders i find somewhat hard to judge where/when move my tank and be useful for my team..

Lemmings are indeed a huge plague to this game..

But yeah, in a team with 14/15 other random idiots and nothing that stimulates actual teamplay - nor rewards it, makes people play like it's a 32 player multiplayer singleplayer game..
I tend to motivate those people through chat a bit.. or as said; when within 4 minutes 60% of my team has been wiped with 0 kills, I tend to atleast make 1 kill to keep my K/D ratio OK, then quickly find a safe spot and type: AFK.
Watch the rest of my idiots get annihilated and don't care about raging in my direction for being AFK. Atleast >>I<< made a kill..

Im in the process of creating a pack of atleast 8 Panther schemes. Including Urban, Desert, Woodland, 3 tone camo and some will have zimmerit armor applied. There will be 3 different arrangements of camo patterns. The possibilities are quite endless.  :) Some are historical, some aren't, but all use historical paint colours from a german tank camo pallete and the actual camo patterns extracted from the game itself.  :)
