Woot! Awesome!.. Looking foward to the improved AI for awhile now! Will test on a brand new install.
Yikes those AI pilots have some 'killer' manuvers. Dogfighting has now become much much harder. The -17's are freaking TUFF.. have to unload alot of rounds (MG 151/20) to knock em' down..wow! the Mk108 gets the job done much more effieciantly.

No CTD for me. Everything seems to be A-OK so far.

QMB maps Midway & Midway 1 I think are new.. I don't dogfight in the Pacific so I can't remember if it was there before.

A clean instal is a must though..

THANKS TO ALL INVOLVED FOR THE MAKING OF 4.11!!!!!!!!

A glitch, I wonder, but I hit two Zeros and their gear dropped! On one all dropped, on the other only the tail-wheel dropped. All other Zeros had all wheels up. Did not see this in guide. Playing on 4.11, of course.

It is a great blunder - just for this one I installed the game again, patched to 4.101 and then 4.11, played the 2nd mission in the Finnish Fiat campaign and got kicked out after 10 minutes...

Stability issues aside, the new AI and especially the new level bombing features are a must for future mods.
For the first time, true level bombing missions are possible.

I could not see a difference there, what is new on that . I was just glad for doing it in a PE-8

The "drop on my command" thing.
Before, you could level bomb as a wingman and either do your own thing or keep formation and drop on the AIs command.
As a leader you could either remain on autopilot or drop out of formation to bomb alone while the AI drones on.
There was no way to manually bomb with your whole formation.

The AI just beat the living dog-snot out of me on a Bf 109E-4 Quick mission. Checked out some screen shots and I was being destroyed by "THREE" Spitfires at the same time! Never saw that before!

That happens to me all the time ... in all versions of the game ... ever since I started playing ... ha ha

At ace settings all vertions could be dangerous but now they are plane out leathal
