Now that 4.11 is publicly released, have you tried it?  what are your thoughts?  I suspect SAS is already trying to make it compatible with mods??  I will DL tomorrow.

I'm downloading now,it's a large download nearly 800 mb's will give it a try later tonight.I would hope they are working to make it compatible with mods it brings us one step closer to DBW 1.7

Interesting. New AI is central theme. After five missions it seems  realistic, perhaps tougher. Too early to say that it is better. Might take me away from my DBW projects...well, for a while, anyway. Interesting to be back in the "old-new" game.

Everything seems to overheat like nobody's business. Is anyone else experiencing the same? There seems to be a factor of speed/airflow that affects the cooling rate, which means flying at slow speeds causes fast overheating - but then everything seems to be overheating anyway at high power setting in a matter of minutes, sometimes less.

Also, I don't know if it's just me but there seem to be some changes in some flight models. I don't recall the 109 G-2 being able to pull a 45 degree climb at 140 km/h with flaps retracted, at 97% throttle (and it still overheats quite fast). More experimenting shall be done.

...and looks like it's the cause for severe CTD trouble from the new native library "DT.dll" which was introduced to hold the new AI native code.
Not that it's anything special, such things happen, but I'd say let this one mature to 4.11.1

Lots of improvements...Love the new planes , new camos, 6 dof is great too !
To early for the moment but the react of the AI seems better: more variety and the reaction change completely the game !
IL2 is still alive !

Is it me or i notice some subtle changes: the sun seems brighter, the 190's have new nose, water in 0 si better too...

Now the question is to know if the 4.11 version can be modded ( AI in the DT.dll)...
