100% Load Crash~SOLVED
« on: January 05, 2012, 11:18:36 PM »

Hi, I just modded the F9F Panther (http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,980.0.html) and got it to where I could see it in the game. It seemed to be fine, but then I hit the "fly" button in the QMB menu, it loaded 100%, then this stupid message:

that's a typical memory crash message.
how many other planes have you installed before?
how many other mods are you running?
that info will help in trying to locate the problem...
also, maybe there is some info in your log file? can you post your log file contents? (use the insert code (# symbol) when pasting in long text..

This is my first aircraft MOD.
The only other MOD-thing I have is the modact 3.06.
What are the log files? (sorry, I'm not very computer savvy...)

ok, chances are you are missing another mod needed for the Panther to work - have you made sure you've checked if it requires any other mod to work?
i'd have a look myself, just can't stay at my pc right now. i'll check later when i get a chance, meanwhile better you double-check on that.
oh, for the logfile info, read the relevant sticky in this section, 3rd or 4th from the top.;)

edit: i see that plane requires the catapult mod. there is also a fix to d/l in that same first post for the Panther, in case you don't have the catapult mod. did you go through that?

Oh, no :-[ whoops :o
I'll try that after school today.

PS, I'm really low in hard drive space so that's why I don't have anything like UP3 or DBW. I'll try to make more room, because I was told at M4T it would be easier to do MODs with UP3 installed. So I'll try... AGAIN.

EDIT:
Here is a link to a sight a kid from M4T started for computer problems. It includes all of my issues with my computer.

I downloaded that catapult MOD. Where does it go? I put it in the Panther folder and the #SAS folder, (not both at the same time) both times it made that same error message at 100% load. Does it go in JSGME folder? Or somewhere else in the Panther folder?

Do not put it in panther folder, just in Modfolder

Okay, its in my #SAS folder, which is the new MOD folder. But still the same error message at 100% load.

The weird thing is that I've downloaded a lot of other mods (plutonium FX and miscellaneous aircraft), but it seems that this problem only happens with the Panther, and sometimes just other random modded planes.  ???
