Hello,

I confirm the solution : I'm on DBW 1.6 and the mod screenshot as TGA solve the problem !
( Note that I have this problem only on big map like channel 45 ... on over maps no problem
with Jepeg !...)


You can open this files with : "Ahead Nero PhotoSap", "Adobe Photoshop" or "Irfan View"....

   I used FRAPS for about two months.  It caused very low fps on my machine.  I tried to persevere with it but finnally I decided to take it off my pc.  Wow, what a difference!  I got my performance back.  I am not saying it is not for anyone.  I am just stating that FRAPS is not for me. 
Why cant we open the TGA?  If we switched to TGA and they dont work, what is the point?

if the FPS dropped, could it be you accidently hit the record on screen video button (F9 default?)
please check your Fraps setup, you might have some videos in the video folder.
recording videos DOES harm FPS... but Fraps by itself needs no resources at all besides memory for screehsots.

yes, i was thinking the same thing when i read that.
Fraps will give you a huge FPS hit if you record video, and possibly you were accidentally doing so?
just having Fraps running in the background for screenshots should not impact your performance at all.
if you use it to record video (possibly what was happening with you?) it will drop your FPS to single digits....
