New shoes for He111...
« on: December 22, 2011, 03:41:04 PM »

Bin wanting to do this for a long time , such an important bomber of the era and so poorly modeled...

In Motion

Wheels borrowed from Ju88 , re sized  and repainted.
10% Sunken for squishy effect .
Also altered the length of struts front and rear to give her more ground clearance as in real life.
Out soon with extras... ;)

Maybe a stuoid question, but is this for il-2 1946 or ClOD? The visuals in the video look a lot better than il-2 to me. Looks really great work though.

cheers

Me - 3d modeler ? - Nada , not yet , all im doing is altering what has already been made .

I thought that working with the sound in il2 was awkward , but this is far worse , and yet when you achieve the most mediocre  of results you feel as if you have won a great battle.

That's precise and well said!  :D I only briefly looked into sounds to work with them and for me, it's horrible (No offense), I just guessed and fiddled with most of the settings till I got something decent lol. Good thing for 3d is that it is fully manipulative, and once you get the hang of it results get easier, especially with all the wonderful tools and knowledge availible. Altering what has already been made is what we all began with, but you still managed to produce something new.  :)
