I have read and reread your post (no problem), I always work with historical photos (if we find )...
and the confirmed informations... (rarely with illustrations), otherwise I must mention "Semi-History" for skin.
 
So if I understand , you want like this:

Skin for the Lt.Robert Hampton Gray FG-1D Corsair 1945:

1841 Sqdn Corsair IV with a tail marked "X" for Formidable, and markings: 1*14 ( 1 rondel 14),
or [ 1 =O= 14 ]...

1841 Sqdn marked Corsair IVs to make up Hamptons last command of other Corsairs from1841 Sqdn :
[ 1 =O= 12]..., [ 1 =O= 16 ]..., [ 1 =O= 17 ]..., [ 1 =O= 18 ]..., [ 1 =O= 20 ]..., [ 1 =O= 21 ]..., [ 1 =O= 22 ]..., [ 1 =O= 24 ].

But I have not the indicatives (KD ...) to really have all information on these devices...
if you have this codes (KD ...) can you indicate me ?...


PS: For the realization of these models I can not do it now,
      because right now I'm working on the P-61's Black Widow and it will take me a long time...

   - When these "corsair Mk.IV" are ready, I would put a link specially dedicated for these historicals models
      in the first post (with some screenshot to see the progress of work)...

No Rush. My desktop computer is down now anyway.
Yes, the markings you indicated are what I understand to be correct for Gray's last flight, and the other aircraft under command for it.

I do not know about the "KD" codes, but since you can not get at them for a while, I will troll the net and see what I can find.
