Object pack in SFS Files for SAS modact 3.06/HSFX

Object pack of Ultrapack SFS Files for SAS Modact 3.06 and or HSFX
For those that like to run basic SAS Modact games or HSFX

There have been some requests for the old object pack that use to be available,
this is basically the same object pack but now in SFS File archives

Thank you HaDeS and II/JG51-Lutz
For your hard work and time invested,
in creating a utility to compile SFS File archives

Below are the necessary links for the UP3 Object SFS Files
and links for SAS Modact 3.06 static.ini and RC file
as well as for HSFX5 with patch static.ini and RC file

I have both SAS Modact 3.06 and HSFX both installed in the same game folder.
If this is wanted then download both SAS Modact 3.06 and the HSFX static.ini and RC file as you will need both

Using the SAS IL-2 Selector,
both SAS Modact 3.06 and HSFX can both be run in one game folder

Ok,once everything is downloaded
and after extracting the 7zip files

Cut and paste all extracted files into your games IL-2 Root folder

IL-2/All 4 UP_Object SFS Files
IL-2/#SAS# (For SAS Modact 3.06)
IL-2/MODS  (For HSFX 5 plus patch)

Make sure to backup your files!
before overwriting any if installing into existing Modded games
You may need to merge your RC file and or static.ini if you have edited them

Best installed into a clean fresh game of...
SAS Modact 3.06 and or HSFX 5 and patch

can i just confirm for the benefit of the members: if i already have UP3/DBW, i can just use those sfs files, instead of having to download these again?
so, i just really need the STD entries from the first d/l part, and can use the sfs files i already have? ;)

can i just confirm for the benefit of the members: if i already have UP3/DBW, i can just use those sfs files, instead of having to download these again?
so, i just really need the STD entries from the first d/l part, and can use the sfs files i already have? ;)

and .... if on SAS Modact 3.06
as an added bonus the RC file has the maps and textures mounted
so you could copy your maps and texture sfs files over.... and the all.ini from UP3 or DBW
and then have all your maps in SAS Modact 3.06  ;)

This is great   :D ;)

After swapping to UP3 map making I was wondering about the other game versions for new maps HSFX/ SAS Mod Act etc. regarding objects

This will definitely help alot as you can have user friendly map versions for SAS mod act etc

LOL just realised what it means when I looked in your .rc file, which is the one from DBW, right ? It means that you can have all the content from DBW in your Modact installation (if you want) and still choose what you want and what not. Never thought about that. You can basically have the full DBW and your modact that can be modded with the content from DBW but kept lighter if required...I really like it, like this I can have all the reworked 3d, textures, maps, cockpits etc in my modact without all the planes, only downloading the ones I want/extracting them.

I know it was quite obvious, and probably many do this already, but I just realised it with your hint ! Thx a lot  8)

I've tried to install these files into my heavily modded Modact 3.06 game, in order to use agracier's Lapland maps. After backing up everything, and removing the old objects folders, I dropped the sfs files into my game folder. I then replaced both my static.ini and .rc files with those from the download.

5% CTD, I'm afraid.

After restoring my game to its previous state, I ran it to check, and all was OK. Next, I merged both the static.ini and .rc files using Winmerge, and replaced the sfs files.

Same result; 5% CTD.

All the sfs files are present and the correct size

I'm buggered as to what to do next!  :-\

Is anywhere more quick download than on Mediafire, of Boomer's sfs objects ? At present, it takes several hours to d/l single part of this pack. I need the pack for my HSFX5 and map Mediterran W.o.I.
Can anybody help, please ?
EDIT:
Mediafire d/l rate is only about 25 -30 kB/sec. !!!

hi depallier! maybe you can try to add only the needed lines in .rc, I did that in my 409UP201 install and so far (tested with opening and creating missions some of the recently installed maps) I had no prob at all.... I had already tried the merging but it did not work, static should remain as it is!
