Thank you very much santobr, the glitch has gone. Your mod has passed to be standard in our installation  :)

If I download this how can I get those lights in airfield

Sorry, you must put the lights one by one in the full mission editor. We made it only for one airfield, and has been a tedious work.

Also, what plane are you useing with the orange nose? P-63? If so how did you get stationary planes to have that skin?

Yes, it's a P-63. To change the default skins is easy job:

- Enter in QMB and take the plane you want to change, with the desired skin.
- Click on Fly, and when mission is loaded, switch to desktop without exit IL-2 (alt+TAB).
- Go to IL-2 path, and enter in folder ..\IL-2\PaintSchemes\Cache. Here you have several files and a pair of folders. One of them is called like the plane you choosed, enter this and you will see four files named "skin...".
- These are  the skin files in default format, so you need to make a copy. Take in mind that the cache folder clears its content when you quit from IL-2. That's why you need to do this with the simulator running on background.

Now you have the TGA files, you only need to put in the correct path as a mod, in #UP# or #DBW# folder. For example in our case, we have  the files in this route:

..\IL-2\#UP#\SkinMod\3do\plane\P-63C(USA)\desert
..\IL-2\#UP#\SkinMod\3do\plane\P-63C(Multi1)\desert

You can know the default paths with SFS Extractor, opening the sasup_fbdsm01-10 files.

it's a little tricky but it works  ;D

Could you please test and see if that glitch was gone?

Thanks.

Sorry to pop in but I just wanted to confirm that the lights work ok with HSFX 5.01 as well. Thank you for this mod!

Yes, just change in your technics.ini file, Smoke12 to Smoke15 entries:
Code: [Select]
Smoke12:Effect   3DO/Effects/Fireworks/FlareWhiteStatic.eff
Smoke13:Mesh     3do/Arms/Null/mono.sim
Smoke13:Effect   3DO/Effects/Fireworks/FlareRedStatic.eff
Smoke14:Mesh     3do/Arms/Null/mono.sim
Smoke14:Effect   3DO/Effects/Fireworks/FlareGreenStatic.eff
Smoke15:Mesh     3do/Arms/Null/mono.sim
Smoke15:Effect   3DO/Effects/Fireworks/FlareWhiteWideStatic.eff

Cheers. :)

Hi Santobr,
Is that solution for proper colour (white) of rear navigation lights? Now  we have green one which is obviously incorrect.
All the best.

Nope, that is a bug in AI mod.
It will be fixed by Anto in the next release of DBW. ;)
