I want to recreate the night bombing on Christmas eve of Bastogne. Till now I know there were two raids after midnight. How many planes and what types involved I can not find. But, these night bombings were a real concern to the Allies. There were no night fighters on the frontline so the Germans had virtually no opposition at night. What I also found oout is that they used magnesium flares dropped by pathfinders. At that night the bombers even straffed Bastogne.
Does anyone know more info about this bombing?
What is the best way to use flares? I tried to use the S-328 in ai mode, but somehow the plane went crazy without dropping any flares.
