The sensitive rudder is my worst enemy while landing. That and bended wings :D

Tater- Line up on the Field, land into the wind when you can,
cut the throttle back and let it glide in. Once the wheels touch down cut throttle all the way.
You should roll to a stop.

I like landing, the blip switch on rotary engines is good fun.

Landing? I rarely last that long...  :D

Yes, those rotary engines are awkward - some have no throttle at all, and you have to be careful not to let the revs drop too much with the blip switch - the engine may fail to restart. The ones with inline engines are definitely easier to land (apart from the spad - visibility is very poor)

I've finally managed to persuade the Fokker Dr 1 to turn left: you give a bootfull of left rudder, then move the joystick in whatever directions seem least likely to make you fall out of the sky! I'm sure that I was actually pushing the stick forward at one point, even while performing a tight positive-G turn.... It is much easier to dogfight in right turns, but 'd imagine any sensible opponent in a turning fight  is going to go left.

Thanks,Gunny! I have only flown the supernoob mission so far but I'll keep on trying to get that beastie to land since you say it can be done!

Cheers Arkbird  :)

The first google result shows as a fake site in my Norton suite. So I went here: http://www.utorrent.com/downloads.

1. Is this one OK?

2. Once I've sorted the game out, is it playable offline?
