I'd like to see someone else finish this map or at least add roads/railroads.

I remember those skins from the old AAA!
I had Beebop make those newer skins for me, which I must say, look really good with their insignia and weathered camo.
I'm making a small campaign now so the skins will be available (in two weeks! be sure). ;)

CzechTexan,

Could you arrange an additonal download source. I haven't been able to get mediafire to work for over a month.

Cheers,

Can anyone else make a mirror for this download?
I don't have access to high-speed net right now to do it.

I was just looking at this map,to add to a map expansion pack for UP/DBW

Noticed right away that ed_maps needed indexing to 256 colors down from millions of colors
the game does not use a million colors and it also decreases download size and hardive content in a huge amount of wasted MB on hardrives, one reason why it use to take so long to load peoples games
loading files with huge sizes, not in native 1 C maddox format

also, seems to be a lot of textures ,that could be in a folder structure where those textures were copied from
nothing wrong with the folder structure of 1 C maddox and company
and most use that folder structure,it allows .tga's to overwrite .tga's we all have in our games already
rather than creating duplicates.triplicates and so on

It's been discussed before,I am not sure why some find it hard to understand or to follow

thought it worth mentioning,
as a lot of the newer maps coming out have all these same issues
and in order to include them in Huge map packages or Modpacks they always need a lot of work before adding them

Anyway...
Hopefully whoever it is,they will index the ed_maps and other textures that need it
and reduce the amount of uneeded textures in the download ete
when they do the roads and rails that is...  :D

I'd like to see someone else finish this map or at least add roads/railroads.

Good points Boomer.  I completely overlooked the map files and did not notice their format.  Perhaps agracier made this map in a bit of a hurry and forgot to change it.  I do recall that he did make it right before he went on vacation.  Anyhow, whomever takes over is now forewarned about the changes needed to be made.  Thanks for the tip.
