Hello everyone!
I apologize for my very bad English, therefore, to maximize detail and objectively tell JetEra in IL-2 4.13
write in Russian. (below fasten the Google-translated)
In general, JetEra in 4.13 works! ; D
Makes 2 options - folder #SAS and folder MODS.
The structure is simple - actually in modoobrazuyuschey folder (from the above mentioned)
1) Folder 000_1956_Core_v13
2) Folder! SAS_Engine_Mod
3) Folder STD, which for air.ini added all aircraft Jet Age
4) The file .rc bottom appended the following:
sfs MOUNT sasamt_jetwar_01.sfs
sfs MOUNT sasamt_jetwar_02.sfs
sfs MOUNT sas_sound_01.sfs
sfs MOUNT sas_sound_02.sfs
5) These 4 indicated sfs transferred from my SAS_AUTO to the root of the game
Everything! ; D
Planes from JetEra flew, rockets, too. ; D
But as vprochem expected, there were some other problemki .. One of them is mnogokabinnye planes (2 and more members ekipazha- first tested the Tu-4, then some of the other planes of default) when you select aerobatics igroku-- game crash, and AI pilot they work.
Ah, yes, even it is impossible to connect the mod Forgotten Countries
However, this is only the first attempt, and might very well be that I will leave (stop) this venture.
But at this stage I decided to tell about his little experience. : - [ ;)

p.s. Russian text deleted ;D, because it turned out abracadabra

sorry :)

fantastic mod, although im am just a bit dissapointed there was no F-86H or Canadiar mk6 sabre in it.  mig17f feels like probably the deadliest plane in that pack. its just insane climb and speed with that afterburner, and doesnt overheat anywhere near as fast as the F-86K's burner.

I did see there other add on planes like the f100 which is neat.

...as well as making decent request...  ;)

...it's known fact that there are major gaps in jets, but nobody's going to make them overnight (although, it would be great surprise...) - it sometimes takes years to make single plane acceptable for release - and several more years of tuning to finish it. For example 21's, they were being worked on for, how much - two years? ...when they were first released, and we still face some unfinished issues, mistakes, bugs. Many jets need features that simply don't exist yet.

Sorry, I got carried away...

And yeah - MiG-17F is enough to kill Phantom - and when I say kill, I mean with cannon :P

Well .. tough.... I know how many man/years of the team's own personal time went into creating, testing and compiling this innovative pack, so you could say that I am "disappointed" it is not appreciated....  ;)

The Mig-17s feature a way overdone roll rate, totally unrealistic.
One of the most characteristic features, to repeat that word, of the Mig-17s, was the slow roll rate and lack of hydraulic boosted control for the pilot.
Pretty much the same for Mig-15s.

Mine 15's are quite slow rolling tho' ...

Actually - there was some video with MiG-17F's on an airshow - they were quite fast on ailerons...

Pass around 6:30 says it clearly - 200 knots my shiny tailpipe... And by the end of the video, there is them parting - quite fast 90° roll. And many other - damn, this plane is really hellish  :P

Very neat display of a famous plane!.., yet even Vietnam F-4 pilots having trouble facing it said its roll rate was rather modest.  Turn rate was outstanding though and AFAIK the first fighter with a better turn rate in the Western hemisphere was the F-16.

Some good read I just found..
https://books.google.de/books?id=ueTIMHCmw6oC&pg=PA75&lpg=PA75&dq=Mig-17+turn+rate&source=bl&ots=by6_IO5e51&sig=Ulq2YfYIfcDLababwWjQnMr_dDM&hl=de&sa=X&ved=0CDgQ6AEwBmoVChMI-aGdx4jIxwIVSL4UCh2Itgm5#v=onepage&q=Mig-17%20turn%20rate&f=false

BTW this source also shows our Mig-21s still have way too quick afterburner spool up times from zero to full burner. Well, the Mig-21s there are F-13s. But I have a friend in another forum who is an engineer from Hungaria and he confirmed low spool up times for these early engines. ;)  :-\
