New version tommorow.  :P No more exhaust pipes, and the floats now have skins!  ;D (But they're on .tga files  :-\ )

 Gotta... Hit.. the sack.... Too.. much... Modding...  :-[

LeOne, sorry for the late reply about the skin I hadn't realised you had posted.

This file contains a new skin specifically for the Seaplane as well as the one you asked for which is for the land plane.  Also included is a tga to change the colour of the floats.  Please back up the existing
one or you will loose it.

I haven't found the cause of the landing issue.. I'm gonna stall V2 a wee bit longer until I can fix it.  :-X

Hello all, for anyone wanting to add this aircraft to DBW there is an issue with a class file that causes a CTD, you will need to remove or deactivate this file:

7EFB94A245610CC6

Then you're good to go. ;)

IIRC the seaplane behaviour or not is in the FM....maybe something similar also for the gear that is set as tail wheel and should be not?

Take a look at the Stinson....it was first developed as a tail heavy , then re-modded as a tricycle and seaplane....maybe you can find a solution from those classfiles....

Just noticed that it have a 409 FM so I installed it on my rig!

The planes fly quite good and have a godd handling!

Just noticed that when AI came into the landing pattern the engine shut off making them glide landing....anyone have also noticed this?

A stupid suggestion - but sometimes we miss obvious things - did you move the _clipCgear hook from the GearC2 mesh to the tail1 mesh and reposition its Hookloc at (x,y,z)=(x=0 =centerline, y rear of your float, z rear of your float)? and positioned adequately the water clips defined in the FM (they were defined as _clip29 and _clip30 in the original He45 FM)?

It will be appearing in a fairly ficticious SCW campaign soon. Thanks for modifying it. He 45 skins work perfectly on it.
