Fw190 A-5 U14 Torpedo Bomber

This was first modded by Blitz. I have modified that quite a bit. In fact this is just about a completely new mod. Changes include, own body mesh, thus, own default skin (tweaked by me, but Made by Waggel), new tail wheel ect.
Also it now has bomber codes on the sides. I also simplified the loadout options, and did some class stuff that makes the outer Mgs go dissapear. I dont care if it is accurate, I like it that way. I swopped the torpedo for one already in the game, on Josse's recomendation, the one from the SM79 (fun!) and did quite a trick of hook editing to make it fit. Redid the tailgear to be more accurate. They also dont retract anymore. (this is new in v3.0)

v4.0: Updated 3d engine in par with other 190s in HSFX and other packs (I think they are by Zorin)
v3.5: Removed old loadout options that were inaccurate. No more "rocket" torpedos.

Opening Canopy Function has been removed for compatibility reasons, but there is a disabled version included for the brave.

If you have old versions of this mod, get rid of them. If You had the previous version of this (downloaded from here) then the lines are the same

Gave a bird a whirl, only issue I have is opening the canopy causes the game to pause but as soon as I close it game resumes. Canopy doesn't fly off either. The other A-5s are not effected and this is using Sani's latest version of the opening canopies mod (posted here(

Yes, I think I will close the canopy on the next version. It is a "nice to have" gimicy mod, that cause far more problems than it brings happines.

I want to do a version of this with more correct unretracting and tall tailwheel.

For now, you could remove the code that controls the retraction of the tailwheel to at least get part of the effect

I just uploaded v3.0. It removed the canopy opening function, making it online campatible and removing some other bugs. Also has new non retractable tailwheel that looks more better.

I did not change the weapons classes. I included that old boat torpedo for sake of compatibility .
I think it is time to just loose it, and only keep the new torpedo. I never noticed the bug cause I never used that one. Good bugspot for next version

I updated the mod and removed that old destroyer boat torpedo. The torpedo remaining will be good now.

Cool.. thanks.. I didn't realize I picked the wrong torpedo... Its funny... I work in software development and have a knack for spotting odd stuff even when I don't want to! If you ever need any bug checking, I can probably help
