The modded 4.09m version gives the hability to use a 512mb or 1 Gb exe for the IL2-fb.exe.
I simply expect that the same will come with UP 3.0 for 4.10.
It helps a lot to solve the problem for me !

but the problem comes mostly from the video card, the il-2 exe has nothing to do with this: I still use the original one in my modded 409 UP201 and do not have those problems...

I have a GTS250 with 1Gb DDR but when I load some huge map I need the 4GB (example Okinawa-Korea-Japan map) exe otherwise the game freeze....
