A-20 Boston MkIII Strafer

Just Before 22 squadron RAAF left for New Guinea their Boston MkIII's where modified with Aluminium panels replacing the plexiglass nose. 4 x .50cal Browning Machinguns where also added for strafing. American units adopted the modifications until the arrival of the A-20G. New Guinea also saw the use of Para frags to attack Japanese airfields and a combination of 2 x 500lb and 2 x 250lb bombs used for anti shipping.
