So are the "buttons" another name for the "modpacks?"

The FM basicly tell how it should behave, It is a messy thing to look at, many numbers. It is how the goodguys make our plane perform as realistic as possible. Buttons contains these FM's and it is very important to update these when you add planes to your game

Hi!

I'm using UP 3.0 RC4 version, wanted to install a new aircraft but there's no STD folder in my #UP# folder. Everything else is running fine, is there a solution to this?

Thanks in advance.

you should have downloaded a file called "#UP#SampleFolder.rar" with the UP download. extract that and place it in your game folder. ;)

Remember that #UP#SampleFolder.rar is the old one release with RC1 so you must use only the air.ini, plane_ru.properties and weapons_ru.properties, even so there are some line missing in the air.ini.

The best thig to do should extract those files form the .sfs file with the SFSExtractor

How do you install new aircraft when you have the new modact 3.06 for 4.10.1m? Because these instructions are for the old way of doing it, and I didn't even know how to do it the old way, either. Now its all different.

Nothing changed from what is written in the first post.

See ie this part in the first post:
Quote
NOTE: ... In SAS Modact 3 or later, it is called #SAS, in Dark Blue World it is called #DBW, in UP3 it is called #UP#.

As you can see the topic and the first post was updated,
simply follow the instructions and you will be fine.  :)

Maybe some planes you want to install needs a special mod, the so called "Diff_FM" Mod. Wheter its needed or not you will find in the install insructions and/or in the planes topic. You then have to install this Diff_Fm mod, for MA 3.06 the download is here:

When having problems post a help request here:
http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/board,4.0.html
or here (decide by yourself  ;))
http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/board,204.0.html

In any case please read the "Read this first" stickies on this boards,

 ;)

Okay, thanks!
