I think there even was one. But I cant find the Profile for it. There was also a Ki-46 with Bombs. But this project was abandoned, because the performance was bad.

KI-43 II can already carry bombs :)

STAX18:
The Ki-46-II had a nose like the Ki-46-Otsu, without the nose canons, but with 1 × 0.303 inch Type 89 trainable rearwardfiring in the rear cockpit.
It was the early and most build variant (1.093).
