Hi!

We just entered in 2011, and with the new patch 4.10 of Team Daidalos, IL2 is enriched with many new features that seemed only right to give them a new redesign and repainted whit this new version!

The start loading screen:



How looks like inside:






For those interested just overwrite my GUI folder inside your Mods Folder.

It's better if you make a backup about your GUI default folder.....just in case!

It's compatible with any version 4.09 or 4.10.

This is a much nicer color scheme ... gives the screens a bit more character.

One little thing I was wondering about - on widescreen monitors with ecran-wide mod, the buttons/switches on the screen appear to be elongated, a bit too wide in relation to the height. This comes from the screen stretching in ecran-wide of course.

But is there any way to compensate for the deformation of the buttons/switches?

Many thanks for your brilliant work! One question. How can I keep your original GUI screen (the one with the pilot's mask)? I get another with a B109 nightfighter and the subtitle 'angels to the hell' (or something similar- by the way, you should remove 'the' from hell). Cheers,

I cant get this to work? I've tried putting it in IL2/FILES/GUI - IL2/MODS and IL2/STD/FILES/GUI but all i get is my default 4.10 UI ??

I use 4.10 with ModAct BTW

What have I done wrong ?? Will have a play around if I fix before you reply will let you know

SOLVED! Had to drop this into my EcranWide folder in IL2/MODS - works a treat and looks fab mate !!

Rename the old nightfighter screensaver background0.tga (like background000.tga) and copy the mine in the same folder...if you want one day change again you do the same whit the mask screensaver background0.

mmmmh!

I still run whit a monster LaCie CRT 22" and i didn't know about this problem.

Did you try whit a different resolution monitor?......just in case!
