Hi,
Type 27 is the canon version of Type 18 (engine M-62), and the Type 28 is the canon version of Type 24 (engine M-63).
Otherwise, there were other minor differences between the two variants, for example tail / tail wheel, right Cockpittürchen, battery door on the right torso, etc. But this is also difficult to decide on photos since it by repair work on the engine swap for example, came and just taken part was what was available. So the best photos from the front and both sides to identify with precision, especially just in type 18/24 or 27 / 28 Is of course an issue today.
